teh sun

teh sun is an ambient and left-field duo formed between Seoul and Rotterdam by Ga Teh and sun'stroll. Working with field recordings, flute, guitar, and electronics, they move between improvisation and structure — proposing new ways of listening to the city.

Since forming in 2025, they have opened for Alex Zhang Hungtai, performed at Sound Bar Normal's Seoul project, and released their debut album somewhere to stay not to arrive (sphere, Oct 2025) — recorded across sites in Seoul including Jeongdong Church Bethel Hall, Nusang Valley, and Bogwang Studio.

Each performance is built on a loose framework, left open for improvisation. One member performs from Rotterdam, the other from Seoul — communicating in real time across 8,600 km, shaping sound together through a live remote connection. A projector displays one performer's feed on stage, making the distance visible.
